UCLA Admission Example:
Attending college has been a dream of mine since I can remember. I have molded my high school career and achievements around that prospect, and because I have been successful, I have the privilege of addressing the UCLA admissions committee today. Ever since I was a small child, my father and I have shared a passion for aeronautics, specifically space craft. We have always followed the happenings at NASA, and my father even surprised me once with a trip to Cape Canaveral, Florida to witness a shuttle launch in person. I loved everything to do with the space program before this trip, but this trip was the defining moment in my life when I realized that I wanted to become an Aeronautical Engineer.
It is this desire that has led me to my application to the School of Engineering at UCLA. After much research and internal debate, I have decided that UCLA is the best choice for my education. I feel that my high school endeavors have prepared me wholly for a successful educational experience at UCLA. I graduated Magna Cum-Laude with 3.8 grade point average.
